Elche 2K24: A Premier Basketball Experience
Elche 2K24 was an intense one-week basketball program held in Elche, Alicante, at the CBI Elche facilities, designed for young players to train with top coaches. Participants traveled from Sweden to engage in double sessions, strength & conditioning, position-specific drills, and team practices. The program provided full accommodation, meals, and breakfast at the Melia Centro Hotel Elche, located in the heart of the city. Highlights included training with Aleix Simó (Assistant Coach of Joventut Badalona U18) and a masterclass with Gregor Schill (Mental & Performance Coach), along with educational sessions on sports nutrition.
Players competed in four friendly games, including two against the U18 National Team of Ukraine, one against CBI Elche and the last one Vs Icon Agency. These games offered exposure to professional coaches, agents, and sports directors, leading to multiple offers and one player securing a contract with Ontinyent (Tercera FEB, Valencia). In addition to the basketball, players enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Alicante, indulging in local paella and exploring the city. Elche 2K25 will offer even more development opportunities and exposure, making it an essential event for players looking to advance their game in a professional dynamic.
